This monograph is the catalogue to the 1968-69 traveling exhibition of Charles Sheeler’s work organized by the National Collection of Fine Arts. The exhibition also appeared at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
It includes a good biographical review of Sheeler’s life as well as plates presenting prime examples of his work.
